@discord.com are a bunch of cowards who will capitulate if you yell at them loud enough. We easily built the platform and we can easily leave it. They have no reason to store large amount of personal user data that they can sell and leak to the highest bidder.

Like I get people wanting to go "Oh you shouldn't leave discord, they backtrack alot" thats partially why, they are wishy washy about extremely unpopular things and I been looking for an alternative for the eventual event horizon to pure shit. Least Dr.Breen is gonna be real popular.

Any good alternatives to discord out there, They are implementing that cringe face scan or ID shit and I rather see them die as a company than do that.

I wanna say that despite hype creep, it was exactly what I needed, especially during a pretty turbulent time I was going through.
Hopefully I don't have big life events next chapter.

Schedule 1, funny drug game. Its pretty casual and fun for mp. Made the drugs feminize everyone and it was profitable.

Pirate yakuza, its yakuza but majima as a pirate, its extremely fun but short

House of Necrosis, Mystery dungeon meets resident evil.

Another rpg, Kingdoms of the dump, I been chipping at it sporadically but its been a pretty fun experience. I mainly picked it up due to look outside but on its own it probably would have won me over. Its both goofy and clever with trash puns and names. Truly is a game made with love.

Oh the Final Fantasy Tactics remake came out this year, I been enjoying it alot picking it up this December. Something I could pick up between helping with xmas dinner and watching the kids. I am a little sad it was a remaster of the psx remaster but the remaster is still enjoyable none the less.

I also follow the lisa fan game scene a bit this year and I found that Lisa the Heartless was a massively enjoyable demo that gripped me narratively and gameplay wise. It explores ideas that I really wanted to see in the setting of olathe. This is a finely tuned DEMO and I look forward to the rest

Firstly, Look Outside was like a fucking amazing rpg surprise. Played it mostly blind and it was such a fun cosmic horror rpg. Gameplay was a tad simple but the updates really tightened up difficulty and strategy. I feel that its a personal Game of the year with how much I smiled playing.

New years, 2026. Gonna ramble about things that were positive this year and stuff I would love people to check out that came out this year.
