not only are you already shoving your opinions on the game to them before they've even started, you're making them start (if they even do) with the expectation that they'll hate it FOR 100 HOURS!

i hate how quickly people tell others "oh ffxiv story takes 100 hours to get good" "just get through arr and you'll enjoy it" if you tell people that, how can you expect them to ever play the damn game
