This kind of violent rhetoric is especially dangerous after someone literally disguised himself as a cop and shot/killed Minnesota state legislators and their families. Our leaders should emphasize de-escalation and civil discourse that helps our democracy instead.

The decision to bring the #NationalGuard to LA against the governor's wishes will do nothing for public safety nor national security. It will only normalize a precedent for the federal government overriding states' authority and erode the distinction between law enforcement and the military.

The House just passed the SAVE Act earlier today. Despite its name, it would take power away from the people and would put the freedom to vote in danger for millions of Americans. Hopefully, the Senate will see the problems with this bill and not pass it.

I actually gaped at this headline for an entire minute. There is seemingly nothing that Big Tech companies won't do to maximize their profits, and that's why Congress needs to pass stringent social media safeguards.
