I LOVE cooking and baking. I enjoy amazing food and excellent wines, bourbons, whiskys and scotches. I love a good book, photography and cross stitch.
Was going thru some of the cross stitch stuff that belonged to my husband’s mother. He brought it home after he visited his father this past summer. These are the only completed works I found. Everything else is incomplete and the patterns are missing.

Sometimes I just have to do a really small project so I feel like I’ve accomplished something while doing large projects. It took about 2 hours.

Finished this snowflake this morning. The lighter colors of the variegated floss do get lost on the Aida fabric.
I wonder how it would look stitched on navy blue or a light blue Aida?

I just find these photos absolutely fascinating! In the eye of Hurricane Melissa!! The pilots and crew flying thru a powerful hurricane to get to eye have nerves steel! Or just plan insane. Either way, they have my utmost respect.
