It had to be a Swallowtail butterfly for the final butterfly week post. papillon machaon brittanicus is restricted to the Norfolk Broads and relys on milk parsley as the sole food plant of its caterpillar.

These houses were just so extraordinarily beautiful after days and days of snow. I had quite a magical experience there (stranded!) in January 2024.
