Last night I decided to start revisiting Metal Gear Solid 2 and getting some Retro Achievements on the way. A huge thank you to @nocturnalhanna.bsky.social and twitch.tv/archmagefreya for the raids!

We'll be continuing with MGS for the rest of this week, then onto the Retro Revival event next week!

Running an early stream. I want my revenge on those damn 100 coins in Rainbow Ride in Super Mario 64.

Depending on how we go, might be one tonight too. So a split stream, if you will.

I'm at 96/120 on Super Mario 64. First time going for 120. Just three stages and a few castle stars to go.

If I finish it up tonight, we'll start work on 101% for Donkey Kong Country.

Just to be clear, those are Retro and Modern game stream request redeems.

Steam Keys are from a list hosted on pastebin which I will provide with a Streamer bot command. They are mostly old Humble Bundle keys, set expectations accordingly.

Been playing Super Mario 64 for the first time in at least 20 years. I like it more than I used to, but Galaxy remains #1. Last night we crossed 70 stars and put Bowser in his place. Onto 120 stars now!

Had a great couple of streams playing Super Mario World. Finished base game last night. Going for 96 exits now. Thanks to @nocturnalhanna.bsky.social and twitch.tv/chrismasthetree for raiding and sharing their communities with us.

I feel that too. There is also mental bandwidth. I have good intentions of keeping up and interacting with people and building friendships, but I seem to max out at about 3-5.

It really sucks that you guys have to keep putting up with this Nami. Keep sticking together and help each other through. You’re doing the best you can. Some people are just straight up unreasonable.

Taking a break from streaming for most of this week, just to keep my focus on work when I start back for the year tomorrow. No stream tonight, tomorrow or Thursday. Back on Friday.

Seeing a ton of shit on socials about streaming and who should give up and when. Success is relative. That person being shit on for "tiny numbers" is probably still having a great time. They might pass you on the way up, or you might slide past them on the way down. Be nicer.

More shelving arriving today. This time it's for the hallway, but it should significantly boost our storage capacity. Maybe @charassic.bsky.social will finally be able to put some of her Figmas on display.

A new Souls or Souls-like playthrough is on the cards. Thinking about Jedi Survivor before the three remaining Fromsoft games.

A rare selfie from me while I was out on a mental health walk earlier. The weather was a nice balmy 20C after being 41C earlier in the week. I'm not OK, the past couple of years have been rough, but the vitamin D and exercise helps.

Changing some stuff up on the stream re: noise levels with redeems and music. if I'm going to continue to claim to be lurker and insomniac friendly, the noise level of the stream needs to reflect that.

Replayed Streets of Rage 4 last night. Enjoyed it a bit more the second time around. I don't get to replay modern games much due to time constraints, so it was nice to be able to revisit it.
