Toujima Tanzaburou wa Kamen Rider ni Naritai (Tojima Wants to Be a Kamen Rider) is beautifully animated. The sound design & amazing music by TeddyLoid goes in so hard.

This show is a love song to Kamen Rider & for rider fans.

I kinda dig it as a theme. Opening definitely has that Power Rangers feel, too. If this is the closest thing to Power Rangers we'll be getting for a number of years, I don't even mind. With this and the teaser released last week, I'm interested in giving Armorsaurs a shot.

Also, they finished their first stab at the continuity, but BOOM!'s POWER RANGERS is just top shelf superhero adjacent comics!

Big, SWEEPING, story lines, lots of action, great art, and a mature tone...without abandoning the campiness of show show. Also...SOAP OPERA! I really miss soap opera. ;___;

I manage to get a version of the fully seen reaper staff by one of the official photos.

Apparently when the Dairanger crew was taking some pictures before the shooting in Japan, Garouki, know as Skelerena in Mighty Morphin Power Rangers is holding a skeleton staff that looks like it belongs to a Grim Reaper Skeleton. It is not there when the source footage episode is completed.
