The behavior of Trump today towards Zelenski was astoundingly scary. Encourage your Senators and Congressional reps to have the courage to stand up to protect our democracy and world peace.

What would you add to this list?

Which are you doing or will commit to doing?

Resistance requires action.

Be active in local and state politics. Think here of bottom up pressure.

· Demonstrate the strength required to be and from kindness, good manners, and compromise.

· Create or join a like-minded group that is action oriented, as we all need support to maintain some optimism.

Highlight your favorite historical leader and what that master/teacher might do in today’s environment. Think of Ghandi, MLK, even Roosevelt.

· Keep telephoning your representatives with a polite statement of what action you want from them.

· Create or join a protect group picketing targeted businesses, like Tesla dealerships.

· Create or join a prayer group focused on brining Grace, Peace and Light where needed

· Donate to a relevant charity- Oxfam, Partners in Health, Doctors without Borders, Sierra Club, Wildlife Federation, ACLU

· Vote with your dollars: sell stock of targeted businesses and don’t buy their products- Amazon Prime, Wholefoods, Tesla cars, etc (Remember, these are money men…)

Okay, I’ve grown tired of listening to whining and reading long expositions on what is wrong in our nation. I want to move from assessment to action, so I keep asking: What can I do? What can we do?

Possible answers in no particular order:

Indian Health Services lost 850 employees today as part of the 5200 people HHS let go.
The US government owes Native people access to good healthcare. Today our country reneged on our promises to them once again.
