The past 7 days have been stressful. I was in a hit and run which forced my car into a ditch. Totaling it (I just payed it off this February 😭) back and forth with the insurance company to get my settlement. Now I’m a proud owned of my dream car. Now I get to nurse my injuries with PT and some meds.

Long day. Flew home, picked up the dogs. Our old girl had a ruptured abscess which required emergency vet. One large bill and 5 hours later she has drains behind her left ear and a bunch of meds. All that matters is that she’ll be fine. But I am exhausted 😞

Salary life does suck for that reason. I’ve just had to make it clear to everyone that my work-life balance is important if they don’t want me to leave. I break down my salary into an hourly wage and allot myself X hours of work per week. Otherwise my salary pay is less than my pay before I moved up
