Added dodge roll animations and updated tail physics. Holding down left trigger focuses the camera behind you and enables strafing.

The physics based tail still needs some tuning. A lot of this is just demo to test animations and server-client interaction. Most will need refactoring #furry #gamedev

Recently got IK working for my character's feet.

Inverse Kinematics (IK) is a type of in-engine animation, that works backwards from typical animation (up the chain).

Here it is being used to position the feet onto the ground, and move the rest of the legs and hips to follow.

Trying to reimagine/port a multiplayer rpg mod a very old game to a modern game engine. I've spent quite a bit of time on the backend already. Just now getting to doing some of the more visual stuff as a break from the techy stuff

Yeah, I'm still tuning the IK. Trust me, it's an improvement over what I had before i got the IK working 😅

The best thing i can recommend is to dabble. Try things out for the sake of curiosity. See where it goes. Worry less about a hard, specific end goal and instead have satisfaction in learning and experiencing a new thing.

Eventually a passion can coalesce from some of those experiences.

I have like 5 or 6 dress shirts I rotate through for work, but i have like a month+ worth of outfits via different combinations

I like being able to play with colors via layering. Shirt, tie, and sweater or sweater vest. Just swapping around those 3 items give so many outfit options. On top of what you get with a coat/jacket and pants
