As someone who works full-time and also does a lot of volunteering and community work it's hard to not burn out on it, because your passion is in the volunteering so you spend energy that you might not have.
But at the same time what gives me energy is being with my community

The sex scenes are very explicit, but they're not sexy, there's no eroticism or homosexual gaze
For me the film feels much more like a coming of age drama about a young gay guy exploring his role in bdsm sub-culture, not a romantic comedy

Fully agree with u, there's a cognitive dissonance between what the producers want us to see and what they're actually showing.
All the "rom-com" "dom-com" stuff they're selling it with is just not... there?? Like it's not funny and it's not really romantic in the way they're trying to imply
