Supreme Court Sides With Wrongly Deported Migrant A trial judge had ordered the Trump administration to take steps to return the migrant, Kilmar Armando Abrego Garcia, from a notorious prison in El Salvador.

Breaking News: The Supreme Court instructed the government to take steps to return a Salvadoran migrant it had wrongly deported to a prison in El Salvador.

Cold but sunny day for a walk on our beautiful W&L campus, especially nice because I just finished grading exams.

Very pleased to see this project come to fruition to celebrate 125 years of AALS with so much growth and good done along the way. Judy Areen gets huge props (as always) for guiding this project from start to completion.

The Supreme Court has denied cert in U.S. v. Hay, the 10th Circuit's pole camera surveillance case. No surprise; the split is lopsided, and the Court denies almost everything in 4A law these days. But it's an important issue, and a future circuit ruling the other way may change things cert-wise.
