The Fairy Tale series created by Terri Windling led me to seek out the retellers of tales and the folklorists + it may have been Tam Lin by Pamela Dean that started it all. And her (TW) Borderlands. The circle of writers and artists incl Jane Yolen, Ellen Kushner, Charles de Lint, too many to list

Read Sociopath, by Patric Gagne, for Monday Book Club (Women who Wine and Read) - I'm not sure of how truthful this is as a memoir, and it's an interesting tale whether truth or fiction, but I would hate to discover it to be like that one Oprah pick that turned out to be a pack of lies.
