Personally I am of the opinion that video games rot your brain. However, so does everything else. In fact, everything else is worse. Video games actually are the slowest means towards your inevitable and total brain rot.

I think the XIV community needs to reconcile the parasocial relationship it has with the abstract concept of being a “welcoming community,” cause it means that horrible people often go entirely consequence free for their actions since too few people want to make them feel unwelcome.
