In 1984, soda bottles suddenly got a lot bigger with new three liter bottles towering over the two liters on store shelves. For a few years it felt like the ultimate party bottle. I went back to trace where it came from and why it eventually mostly disappeared.

Before I fell asleep last night, I had an idea for something to do the next day, wrote it in the notes app, lay down. Then had a dream where I woke up the next morning and the note made no sense to me. When I got up for real, the note made sense. But some real Flaming Globes of Sigmund energy.

I think it's pretty typical for rents to increase each year, especially for corporate owned properties. And let's be honest, the days of mom and pop renting out the other units in their owner occupied buildings are pretty much over. Something needs to give.
