Canonical reference material, specifically DK's entries within the Visual Dictionary series and materials with derive from the former, such as the various new editions of the Character Encylopedia and other sources. Some may conflate. So, this is a very interesting question on intent.

I've been looking into Mon Mothma's costumes and I've been wondering, is the "Hanna Pendant" and "Chandrilan Medal of Freedom" meant to be different names for the same thing, or are they seperate things entirely? @infinata.bsky.social

Yeah, unfortunately IDW dropped the license right after and so the issue was never collected. :(

Finally, I'll end on two little behind-the-scenes notes. This book takes place along the Corellian Trade Spine (where Barsha Corp was HQ'd). I needed a planet for a scene and picked Ghorman. Then I got a note: "don't use Ghorman, it's in Andor s2." As I watched I went "ohhhhhhh I see why" 😬

Galaxy of Heroes' realistic interpretation of Kix from SW Adventures by Thomas Guillory. Original design by Nick Brokenshire and Eric Jones. There's some minor inconsistencies in the belt and helmet between the key art and model, but overall this is a real nice interpretation.

Great to know whose behind all the great entries on there! Hope we see more obscure Original Trilogy and Prequel Trilogy characters making their way back on there some day like in the previous version of the Databank.

Andor fans! The official site has updated histories in the Databank that cover Season 2. I became a bit obsessed with these updates adding in a few characters from Season 1 who didn't have histories (Kleya!) or didn't get one for Rogue One (Krennic!) www.starwars.com/series/andor

Should have clarified @kelly-knox.com and @actuallybrandon.bsky.social killed it with the main Andor Season 2 Databank entries - main characters also get longer histories below those - that's what I was referring to!

I know there's stockholder reasons (blah) but announcing things in development is dumb. Wait till there's a start-of-production date. People don't know the difference (which, again, is sort *why* it happens).

Okay, your meditations have reached the Council. In the week leading up to the release of Season 3 Part 2 of NINJAGO: DRAGONS RISING (no, I don't know when that is), I will reveal each Source Dragon's associated Elemental Powers - at least the ones we are willing to divulge. One Source per day.

Normally, Story Group frowns on this kind of Easter Egg but they decided to let me get away with this one.

New edition of Supergirl: Cosmic Adventures in the 8th Grade arrived at my house this week. Available in book stores everywhere this August.

Loved that issue of SW adventures. The GoH adaptation is pretty interesting.

Yeah, Battlefront renders and sometimes even ripped models are super common in concept art, fun spotting them.

Only just realized how this can be misread but keeping it up because I am no coward.

It's always going to be a case-by-case basis when stuff like this comes up as opposed to some precedent-setting decisions. It was a pretty unusual circumstances, all around. Given how deep some of the pulls Andor made from publishing, I would hope that would help illustrate this.

Sure. But everyone’s definition of “canon” varies. For me all these stories are dramatizations of ancient unseen events. But that definition doesn’t work for everyone.
