I love this ASL class so much! I have had so many dreams about talking to an actual deaf person in sign language before. And tonight I got the confidence to get a deaf person’s attention and ask them how to sign something I fingerspelled! What a dream come true. #lovelanguages #asl

I’m taking my very first ASL class tonight and I’m so nervous! Ever since college, I’ve taught myself a bit of ASL, learned some from TV shows, and have been fascinated, but I’ve never had the opportunity to take a class until now. Luckily the class is free to my local community!

Thought that I should stop taking naps now that I go back to work on Wednesday (and obviously can’t take naps at work). But I keep dozing off😓 #dogsitting

Went to a RenFaire for the first time today. Though I would call it “hippie fest with a renaissance theme”
Soooo many people, this introvert didn’t last too long.

How im spending my bday weekend:
-Happy hour with school staff
-late night board games with friends

-attending a friend’s bday party
-celebrating Nala’s bday
-out to eat with the hubby

Today is so rainy and dreary😞 I’m glad I don’t have work, but at the same time I’m just not full of life today. This weather is depressing.

Was able to fall back asleep finally. Not sure how many hours I slept. It felt like a long time, but a short time at the same time, as I kept waking up.
Symptoms this morning: piercing headache, going from my temples to my cheek bones, nasal/throat congestion
I’ll still try to go to work today.

It’s midnight, I have work tomorrow, and I literally can’t breathe through my nose at all! And when I breathe through my mouth I start coughing because of throat congestion😭😭😭😭😭😭 I may end up taking tomorrow off🤧 #sick #worklife

And it’s getting worse as the day goes on😭
