The richness of information straight from the source is one of the advantages of using social media as early signal detector.

I don’t remember in seeing digital disease detection protocols adopting Nextdoor as a data source. Actually it’s been a while I didn’t hear disease rumors detection using the plethora of social media available nowadays (e.g. Ring, Instagram, Quora, TikTok…).
