I agree with @olufemiotaiwo.bsky.social we're going to win this battle. I always thought that. But I think the struggle is always ongoing and I wish we didn't have to watch these confused hateful people pointlessly destroy so many resources we need for people to thrive. People deserve to thrive.

And while he is upturning the consensus on vaccines and eroding any remaining public trust in science, the NYT, Vanity Fair etc are laundering this man's reputation and impact as some kind of romantic figure, when he is truly dangerous.
He may not lob bombs, but his death toll will be significant.

This is the worst chapter of extermination: to be left exposed, stripped of any means of a human life, and at the first drop of rain, torrents of water mixed with sewage crash into your tent, which the sun has beaten down for two long years.
