Found an old, handmade iron nail at the junk shop, the tag said it was from old town Petersburg, VA. The date given was circa 1700s, but I do t know about that. Anyway, it was $7. I like it.

I painted and rearranged this whole room. Feeling quite accomplished.

Getting through 2025. Motto: when it comes to Donald’s, I’ll take less Trump, more Fagan.

Rearranging furniture tonight. The end result can be satisfying, but damn if it doesn’t come close to driving me completely insane.

Today I finished up making and bottling a natural ink made from pinecones. It is a little thin, even after being reduced on the stove with a long simmer. Still, a nice red-brown color.
