Might sound crazy but maybe the fact that the Nazis wanted to exterminate the Slavs and protect France from Jewish influence means that they didn't really believe in the "defense of difference" as is claimed here. You don't, under any circumstances, gotta hand it to the Nazis for their tolerance.
