25.01.2026 11:06 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0Ah, I thought by "form" you meant more like "final iteration". My bad. From an aesthetics point I feel like the Wii/WiiU dpads are the best. I'm not sure why but something about the crosshair design just looks so pleasing.
18.01.2026 17:52 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Heavy disagree on the Gamecube dpad. That thing was awful for precision input.
I think out of all the dpads I've tried on controllers, I'd say the best would be separate buttons with microswitches underneath though for a fully connected dpad I've found the Xbox Series controllers to work best.
I've been eyeing up Linux since Windows 8 as I didn't like what was happening though every time I tried using it as a desktop OS it kind of sucked. 2024 rolled around and I gave Linux another shot and the amount that has changed is insane. It really is good enough to be a daily OS for most users now
18.01.2026 15:55 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0The more feedom a system gives the user, the more ways they will have to break it. Which is generally a good thing as it means people can tailor their systems to their exact needs and styles. Compare that to other OS' where if something isn't how you want it.. You just have to deal with it.

I've tried so many times to block users and tell Bluesky I don't like it but it never stops.
The irony is that this Pokemon gives me Palworld vibes. :v

Sometimes the outcome we want doesn't happen which definitely sucks. Though on the bright side, There are billions of people in the world and you can pick and choose who you wish to spend your time and energy with. So personaly I'd consider it an opportunity to close the door and look forward :D

Of course when a lot of the Irish moved over to the US they took this holiday with them which turned Hallow's eve into Halloween and the traditions we see today.
Of course every country celebrates their own holidays. We in the UK have Bonfire Night coming up in less than a week which has a fun past
plugging chimneys with turnips. Speaking of turnips, this was also a time when turnips were carved and lit with something.
The other part of Samhain was that it marked the end of the harvest season so a small feast was held. Though this tradition seems to have been lost to time.
Its origins come from the Celtic holiday Samhain. A time where the celts believed the barrier between the spirits and the living to be rather thin and burial mounds to be portals to the underworld. There were also rumours of spirits causing mischief (most likely kids) from opening livestock gates to
31.10.2025 09:35 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0That's understandable. To be honest a lot of the holidays we celebrate today are essentially whitewashed versions of Pagan/Celtic holidays. Blame the Romans and Christianity for that.
For Halloween in particular, the Christian version is Souls day which is tomorrow. Yet before then is Hallow's eve
Thanksgiving I can understand due to that more being about American history though no Halloween despite also celebrating Christmas? That's surprising to me. ๐ค
