25.01.2026 01:21 — 👍 4 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0This line graph illustrates the percentage change in agency staff levels from the previous year for nine major U.S. federal scientific and health organizations between the fiscal years 2016 and 2025. The agencies tracked include the CDC, Department of Energy, EPA, FDA, NASA, NIH, NIST, NOAA, and NSF. For the majority of the timeline between 2016 and 2023, the agencies show relatively stable fluctuations, generally staying within a range of +5% to -5% change per year. However, there is a dramatic and uniform plummet starting in the 2024–25 period. Every agency depicted shows a sharp downward trajectory, with staffing losses ranging from approximately -15% to over -25%. The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) shows the most significant decline, dropping to roughly -26%, while the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) shows the least severe but still substantial drop at approximately -15%.
This is the most astonishing graph of what the Trump regime has done to US science. They have destroyed the federal science workforce across the board. The negative impacts on Americans will be felt for generations, and the US might never be the same again.

To distract from Epstein, the explosion of health and homeowners insurance costs, and the tariffs that are decimating small businesses, Trump is plunging this country into a war and using our soldiers as pawns.
And there it is.

Let me explain the stakes and how we got here.
Thank you for your observation.
But now can you please do:
What are the legal and / or constitutional actions that can be taken against these presidential edicts that do not seem based on facts or laws?
Can a President simply unleash the military against citizens for no reason???
Hey Democratic Party!!! How is this ok if the guy not only made the Nazi salute but is reportedly responsible for 300,000 deaths of children who depended on USAID???
Not OK democrats - NOT OK
What??

Instead he should be investigated and probably prosecuted for national security crimes.
Enough already.
A post from Pop Base (@PopBase ) on X reads: "Juan Carlos Lopez-Gomez, a 20-year-old U.S. citizen, was detained in Florida under a state anti-immigration law — even after his birth certificate and Social Security card were presented in court. He was charged under a law that was temporarily blocked by a federal judge on April 4th, before his arrest. He’s now been released and reunited with his family." Below the text, there is an image of a young man and a woman hugging in a restaurant, with tables, chairs, and a window with a fast-food advertisement in the background.
If you so much as look like you might be a migrant, your rights are subject to the whims of ICE and the courts now. Be careful out there. Have people ready on speed dial who can help.
