10.11.2025 17:09 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Basic and obvious things are being missed by Bristow. Yet another year of no progress on bus stops, such a basic win for any mayor. Look at how many projects are under spent, because they have failed to deliver. And its unclear where Bristows free parking will be funded from....
09.11.2025 18:53 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Then, couple that with his next steps. Bristow is a career politician. He could struggle with reelection , especially if Reform dont implode. I also believe Peterboroughs Labour MPs will struggle to get reelected. Will Bristow miss an opportunity to get back to Westminster?
09.11.2025 18:53 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0We should see progress soon, leaving the commercial model in limbo is the very worst outcome. Bus franchising will be a costly and complex solution and its unclear Bristow has the desire and / or the ability to pull it off.
09.11.2025 18:53 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 2 π 0And of course with the news Bristow is already delaying bus franchising to 2028.....
I wouldn't hold much hope for positive news regarding public transport in Cambridgeshire anytime soon
Cambridgeshire bus franchising delayed as first services not expected until 2028

I did notice still nothing on the Tiger 9, I thought these expensive consultants where proposing a route.
Not on agenda, not out for tender. Has the Tiger network missed Peterborough?
Distance per trip? Maybe a daily amount of miles ?
DRTs will always be higher cost per passenger than a service bus
Seems complicated and deliberately so
I am not clever, but the Met Police would be aware where Andrew is at all times.
If he is involved, then the police knew and turned a blind eye?
Nigel Farage just voted to water down workers' rights.
We were voting on the Employment Rights Bill - the biggest strengthening of workersβ rights in years.
But of course Farage sided with the bosses. Again.
Not risking a block. Isopods are awesome.
06.11.2025 16:50 β π 3 π 2 π¬ 1 π 0There is a very simple strategy for Labour.
Keep pounding the open sore that those behind Reform have made us all poorer.
Their policies will make us ever poorer. Tax rises MUST be directly linked to the myth that was the Brexit dividend.
Tax rises must be met with important improvements.
We are politically in an odd place. Reform will move to a low tax/ low benefit model, which will harm their voters the most. Labour clearly unwilling to blame the elephant in the room.
The strategy is obvious.
The economic damage of Brexit was never doubted.
Stop the myth it isn't impacting
The inevitability is taxes need ti raise. But Labour can't not use working people as a cash cow.
Tax payers must see a direct benefit from this rise in tax.
Additionally this must be coupled with taxation on the very wealthy, closing loopholes and benefit reforms.
Missed the misspelling
Next prime minister?

I do find it odd that the right wing agitators, opposing digital ID and health measures etc. appear very keen to have the general population armed and erode your freedom by making railway stations like airports.
Very odd, or is it ?
A senior Cambridgeshire Reform political activists and he appears to have done the impossible. Made Fitzgerald look credible.

Counting 0 (zero) interviews or quotes in news articles so far?

Struggling to understand the Wests response to world events like Palestine.
Struggling with the ever present racism in the UK.
Struggling with being blamed for every wrong doing.
Now discuss with that young person, British Values and that impacts them.
On the 0610 train to London. People are snoozing, listening to music, drinking coffee.
Unlike the agitators, they arent cowering in fear.
I will quietly reflect on the bravery of that LNER crew member, while I drink my coffee.
I would avoid jumping to conclusions but an extract from Cambridgeshire police live posting from Friday night
Mmmm
I wish someone in No. 10 would listen to their cat because he seems to be the only one there who recognises the threat X, Grok and Musk pose.

So it begins.

No Nigel. We need to congratulate the emergency services and rail staff who bought this swiftly and expertly to an end.
Who and why is a matter for those tasked to investage and bring to justice.
From someone tipped to be the next Prime Minister, the dog whistling can be heard by all
Just seeing his face and clearly not having a clue what he is talking about, set me back on my recovery.
