Ugh Lack of updates. Sorry yall. Work and a loss in my family has hit me pretty hard but I’m plugging away in black mage upgrades and a little bit of chiori! White mage is also in the mix. I’m currently working on electrical stuff so I have a little of all cosplays out right now.

I am going to take her to Ichibancon on February

Sadly I had to drop the operation at Colossalcon last min due to medical emergency. I’m heartbroken but it may have been for the best as I now have the time to reevaluate some design flaws I came across on her. She is pretty much done. But there are a few things that need altered and fixed.

Eevee was at Colossalcon again! She is going to become a permanent cosplay I bring with my line up each year. Sadly did not get to an appearance yshtola like I planned but she will make an appearance soon

First full try one with sleeves! Everything is sewn into place now for the most part. I have one gusset in the other is about half sewn. Had to stop for the night. Getting down to the wire now on finishing her.

Sleeve progress! Sorry been behind on upload posts. Con crunch and work is exhausting

Taught myself a new leather stitch, I added a backing to the shoulder base piece cause I wanted it more supported and I’m so happy just gotta stitch it together! I also finished the sleeve cuffs!

More updated. Started priming more pieces and making leather belts. Also resin painted the Crystal! Made sleeve puff linings!

Haven’t had any picture worthy updates the last day are so and finally have one! It’s still a wip but I’m starting to pin the pleat (well fake pleats) it was the only way to keep the jacket bottom structured and not floppy looking.

I should have her done for the cosplay contest at the end of the month :) so won’t have to wait too long

Nightly update! We have detail stitching! I’m sooooo happy with how it’s turning out. Glad I switched to suede cord instead of embroidery floss! I am digging deep into leather works on this cosplay! This will be my proudest comp build yet!

And tonight’s progress is extra detail on the staff! The beautiful staff I got from @dangerousladies.ca is amazing and I was going to paint the details but deciding I wanted to be extra and put my 3d sculpting skills to use!

More updates! Zipper is basted in! I had some trial and error on the button part at the bottom. Didn’t like how the detail work was going so I made changes! Will be working on that the next couple days.

Todays update started the brown leather with my first time wet shaping leather

Started patterning more and laying out my pieces for the mock pleats… just trust the process… and the start of new leather bits

Inspired by kamui and her ffxiv summoner jacket I made a structure interfacing for the bottom of the jacket. I was struggling with how floppy and bad it looked without it.

Keyholes are officially done and top stitched. Started redoing the leather bits. Wanted something more flexible with movement

Lots and lots more understitching and keyholes have finally gone into place

Long time no update! More work on yshtola! I’ve made custom buttons for the jacket front snd sleeve cuffs as well as the side red pieces

We have officially signed up for Colosslcon cosplay contest! Now to finish yshtola and wait to be accepted! I was so sad to have to drop last year but I knew it was the best thing to do as I refused to rush and ruin how amazing it’s coming out! Chiori will also be getting finished as well for Yama

I know I share these a lot but I still can’t get how it came out.I had always doubted my own skills as I have grown in my cosplay crafting. But seeing this costume and everything I have won in it I’m just so proud of it.
