It's been a crazy summer for me but my rose bloomed again this week and I'm reminded that, given time, everything blooms again. I am determined focus on positivity and gratefulness this fall. My hope for you is that life gives you a break in this season! ๐น๐๐ฅฐ

When I was diagnosed with cancer last year, it very much felt like someone had clipped my wings. My diagnosis may have activated my fight or flight response but I was never going to run. In medicine, one thing you learn is that you donโt fix patients. All you can do is give their body the tools to aid in their recovery. The week before I started treatment, the only thing in my head was, โGive me a stick and I will beat this thing. Just give me something to fight with.โ I believe we are born as fighters and hope is one of the most powerful weapons we possess. Whatever you are going through, I promise you are stronger than you think you are and I encourage you to fight. The only way out is through.
