Last night I took a (guided) 4 1/2 mile hike at moonrise under the Hunter's Moon on the red rocks that are sacred to the Apache and many other peoples The moonlight was so bright when it was behind me it lightened the black sky but kept the stars in the photos. And a scorpion under black light.

Why is it just making national news. I put it as a statement and not as a question because I don't expect you to answer or have an answer. This is just all reprehensible. And waiting for these lawsuits and those of governors and mayors seems like more time than we have.

Not only are undoc workers not to blame for the shutdown, daily costs are rising in part because the admin is busy attacking immigrant farmworkers.

I went to the protest this morning at ICE facility in Broadview. Some photos if you wanna follow along. My guess is that at its height there were 300-400 people there, all protesting the inhumane treatment & illegal kidnapping of our neighbors. #broadview #iceprotest #abolishice #broadviewprotest

Black immigrants are some of the most deported

I hold this outrage along with my outrage in Gaza. I do not have to choose between them. But I do choose peace. I choose justice. I choose dignity for all people.

I do know that the largest expense in the community in which I pray regularly, is security.
The attack on the Manchester synagogue, murder and injury of congregants is reprehensible. The targeting of a synagogue on the Holi day of the year is beyond reprehensible.

I had the honor of reading the prayer for the end of the war in Gaza acknowledging the horror inflicted upon the children. I then went to school because I couldn't cancel today's class right before fall break (in my mind). So I did not know about the attack on the synagogue in Manchester.

While I am not Jewish and I am not converting, I have prayed in, been a member of and now serve on the board of Jewish congregations. Like many folk, I got up this morning and went to Yom Kippur services.

Soon, he won't even have to drop out of a race.

The sounds and music titles are the best! I love them in sci-fi and fantasy shows because they often give you the name of a character before it has been spoken aloud and with the spelling you can visualize the name when they pronounce what sounds like some random alien word.

I keep hoping these lawsuits will gain traction and be ruled illegal in enough cities/states that they will be illegal nationally. I'm specifically referring to the ones on perceived identity and without warrants and without checking identification at first contact.

They want us back in the fields so bad.
