The epitranscriptome formed by the growing number of modifications occurring within mRNA transcripts.
We have been mapping mRNA modifications for over a decade.
=> Characterizing their functions -- especially on translation -- is a research frontier.
Just one week away until #CellBio2025!
Please plan to join us for a sUPeR speakER lineup at the #EndoplasmicReticulum Minisymposium!

Useful insights from this nice, expert 'community comment' @natcomms.nature.com Biomolecular condensates aren’t just LLPS, or oil-and-water droplets. They span diverse material states and interactions. Nuanced, precise terms help capture this complex physics and move the field forward.

Ignorance on MAGA’s part plays right into and is the main reason the orange pile of 💩 is still around.
Anyone believing this garbage is more dumb than the 💩 🍊 plague himself!
Well said! We already have too many A-rated excellent ERC projects that can’t be funded. Same for MSCA!

🧬🛡️How are new immune mechanisms created?
We show how Lamassu antiphage system, originated from a DNA-repair complex and evolved into a compact and modular immune machine, wt Dinshaw Patel lab in @pnas.org.

And the saga continues! Our collaborative work with outstanding Justin Korfhage & Thomas Melia’s lab in PNAS shows that ATG2A transfers triglycerides and does so bidirectionally! An exciting twist in our understanding of lipid transport.
Definitely worth a deep read:
