I'd argue that hearing the paternalistic Karen saying that she has "concerns" is as damaging, as hearing it from the blood guy. You expect it from the guy. The Karen was supposed to be your bulwark against that type of things. Distinctions between the two become immaterial once the line is crossed.

Now, I'm not saying that the racist politicians in the Deep South weren't horrendous. But just because the Reform representatives don't voice the same sentiments in the same way, doesn't mean that they don't feel them. They are just adjusted to a context that they are shaping to be more permissive.

The proposed EHRC guidance is more extreme and discriminatory than the anti-trans regulations currently in place in any US State.
