UNICEF confirmed today that at least 37 Palestinian children have been killed in the Gaza Strip since the start of 2026. The organization said roughly 90% of schools in Gaza have been damaged or destroyed, leaving more than 700,000 children without regular access to education. The United Nations also confirmed on Thursday that Israeli forces demolished the UNRWA Jabalya Preparatory Boys’ School, the last remaining school in a compound of six. With its destruction, the entire school complex has now been leveled, according to the U.N.
