Well that was fun, our smoke alarms just went off at 5am and we have no idea what triggered it. Then it stopped a minute later. The tenant says he was asleep. How do we figure out which alarm triggered the system. But at least it wakes us, saying "Alert! Fire!" alongside the blaring alarm.

Yeah it's a good debate, I just went with cardinal direction with a Vancouver starting point since that's where I live. 🤷‍♂️

Really? Is this really the best way to break a giant piece of concrete foundation? Just dropping it again and again. Can hear little pieces breaking off, flying and hitting things like shrapnel each time it hits the ground.

The only time I ever seem to be in the Hillcrest curling rink is when there's no ice.

I object, that "streetcar stop" never saw passengers during the Olympics. DhR service was discontinued on that section when Olympic Village construction began.

Same, motivating myself to jump on the bike in the evening is challenging. I liked my ride to and fro.

In this case glad the tradition was halted.

The sad part is he's not even an elected official.

Huh this is fascinating, I never knew this service existed. It'd be wonderful to expand it (restart the BC Rail Pioneer service) and grow tourism. I took the BC Rail service to 70 Mile House when I was 12 with my whole class, it was an interesting experience.
