Modern. I feel like it’s a debate of aesthetics, but also what it says about the setting. One serves to highlight the differences in both levels of knowledge, development, and priorities in levels of society, and one kind of just weakens the ambiance of your fantasy land

It’s UPSETTING because I LOVE ideological anachronism in a setting. Like I love a juxtaposition of a very grounded depiction of peasantry juxtaposed with a wizard who’s going “we CANNOT kill chimeras we do NOT understand their ecological niche well enough” but I hate it when the language used is

I organize references very ACTIVELY on my desktop but it’s much harder to when I’m doing it on my iPad, as I usually send them from my phone
