#TheHotSpot is a quirky Japanese comedy on #Netflix. A slice of life series about friends who learn a co-worker is an alien with "amazing" powers like bending coins or retrieving volleyballs from the gym ceiling or putting screen protectors on phones without air bubbles. Very fun! 🗻

Me too! Nigel Bruce is terrific, but once I met the Watson in the stories, that's the Watson I always wanted going forward. Coincidentally, Ruth and I recently researched the Sherlock Hound series by Hayao Miyazaki and learned they briefly considered calling Moriarty's two henchmen Nigel and Bruce.

Nice! Ruth and I rewatched all of the Basil Rathbone Sherlock Holmes movies last year. Watching them as a kid with my father was my introduction to the character and then I went to the local library and found the original stories. 🔎
