You have competent players who can step in, one you heavily relied on for the right hand side now he can barley play. Arteta has rotated in attack but it’s like he can’t function without Timber or Zubimendi

What I do not understand is why Arteta falls in love with a player and feels like he can’t rotate him. Why could Norgaard and White not have started? Zubimendi and Timber rested for Sunday would’ve been better

Not sure why Gyokeres started. Nothing against him, but 3 games in less than a week doesn’t feel right. His best games have come when he’s had a break

I actually like Timber playing this game. I think Sunderland will sit in and White/Calafiori at full back being for that game will suit us better

I think the struggles come from the fact that since early December he’s been dropped quite harshly. Merino 9 until Kai is fit is the one for me but I don’t think Arteta will do that. Purely because it looks bad on his £60m striker/Jesus

If we win the league, I don’t care how we do it in the end as long as we get there. This team is not inexperienced anymore but they’re inexperienced when it comes to winning the top trophies.

We need to get there and then reset. Change the philosophy and players in attack

The issue is we lack quality attackers outside of Saka and we have a manager that will prioritise defence over attack. When the defence is leaking goals, our attack does not bail us out.

Own goals and set pieces have been extremely favourable for us

Being great defensively is one thing but we haven’t shown that since Saliba and Gabriel both were injured. Now when you’re conceding goals and not scoring them, it’s a massive massive problem

Until Arteta wants to be less stubborn, we are going to be average at most in attack with one really top player in attack (Saka). We don’t have players who can consistently contribute with output except Saka (prior to this season).
