I asked that person if I could basically pay them to move out of the plot, I'd even pay them like 30 million gil to gtfo but I was very polite about it. They said they moved into the plot to be near their FC and the marketboard so I was like meh okay. But... their FC isn't even in this district...

Wish it was 2027 for a variety of reasons, but mostly so I can get the second surgery that I need. Then 2028 so I can get the third surgery that I need....

Maybe by then the world will have fixed itself a little, in some positive direction at least...

I think about this a lot.

I gave him so many treats and pets and let him have the heater to himself, and wrapped him in warm soft things and bought him a new toy....

And when I say filth I don't mean dirt or sticks or leaves or bugs or something --- I mean actual human piss and god fucking knows what else. I am spending many days de-stinking the lad, washing everything he's touched since being reunited. The others hiss at him but I remind him it's not his fault.

So at 9pm-ish on Jan 16th, Zipper disappeared. I looked everywhere. I did not realize how attached I was to him, how much he felt like Dodo to me, until I did not have him next to me. 22 agonizing hrs later, he comes back to me yowling for safety, covered in filth. I need to decompress---

I saw the window tracery and immediately made my friends pause the film so I could tell them.
