I’m still absolutely thrilled with the whole silhouette (pun intended) of this costume and the play of different textures throughout. Adding the boots and pauldrons really raised it up a notch IMO!

New commission: a Black Mage from FFXIV! I really enjoyed making this, so many hidden details! I made the staff so that it breaks down in half for easier transport, the hat is built on a base of foam, I’m so excited to see how this all looks on my customer, it really feels like a magical outfit!

That is a really good idea. I am definitely using Living Memory jokes now for my FC when we talk about Fanfest.

Oh wait fan fest had a cosplay showcase in previous years, right? I better get working on those ffxiv in progress cosplays stat. >_>;

Our FC has their hotel and plane tickets for fan fest now. Or if fortune does not favor us, I guess we're going to some theme parks. Fun time either way.

This was fun.

I know a very wide variety of FFXIV players from casual dad who only plays msq every couple months to serious raider playing every day and a lot in between. From my perspective, most people play pure vanilla. 🤷 I think the game and the community will be okay.

I showed this to my FC and they all laughed very hard. Thanks for making our night. 🤣

My favorite is to repurpose crafting supplies from projects that never came to fruition and turn them into something small and trinket worthy.

I'm still working through some resin casts that didn't come out quite the right color.
