Short track speed skater Oleh Handei said his helmet bore a line from Ukrainian poet Lina Kostenko: "Where there is heroism, there is no final defeat."

Ukrainian Defender Vladyslav spent 275 days (9 months) at his position on the front line.

Vladyslav was evacuated from Vovchansk, Kharkiv region, using a ground-based robotic system. The evacuation was successful on the fourth attempt, with the final, successful operation taking two full days.
