May Mince Pie season commence forthwith.
Every year from the 1st Nov, I unwittingly enter all UK shops into a Mince Pie Competition. Iceland usually wins.
I am one woman, with a score sheet and a penchant for Mince Pies.
I have searched topics I'm familiar with and ai copilot gives innacurate answers every time. I would not trust ai. Actual reliable sources are now thin on the ground. We live in a hearsay world more than ever, even with all that knowledge at our disposal.
03.11.2025 19:12 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Actor David Tennant wears an unbuttoned golden yellow shirt jacket over a white t-shirt. His hair is brown and parted slightly on one side and he's standing in front of a light yellow backdrop. He's smiling and even though his teeth aren't showing, he still looks peaceful and happy. He is the only one in the photo.
Congratulations!
The time changed in the US today, so to combat the bleakness and the extra darkness, your timeline has been blessed by a happy sunshine yellow David Tennant!

Horses? He could do with a confidence boost as he'd just bought into the idea of a getting a perm, he's a retro new romantic, but felt self conscious as he left the hairdressers.

The rear cover of 1983
Hello! My CEO Roscoe and I are giving away TWO signed copies of my novel 1983 to two randomly selected people who repost this & pop a reply below. You also get a free postcard of this illustration of Roscoe by my mum.
Itβs been called βStranger Things rewritten by Kurt Vonnegut & Sue Townsendββ¦
Haven't read this one, have read others and love your witty style. Would love to read this! Thanks Roscoe- I particularly love the cat stories. β€οΈπ±π

01.11.2025 09:06 β π 19 π 5 π¬ 2 π 0Detail from a mosaic depicting three similarly sized men. The first on the right is dressed as Anubis. He is wearing a dog mask and red robe. He holds a caduceus. His hands seem to be a different colour to his mask, suggesting he is a human and not the god. The two men to his right are wearing white robes, possibly linen. Both of their heads are clean shaven and they wear feathers on their head, possibly a symbol of priestly office. According to Clement of Alexandria, scribes wore feathers. Above them the text reads βNovemberβ
So we enter November, aka Anubis month. This image from a calendar mosaic from Thysdrus (El-Jem, Tunisia) depicts a festival commemorating the death of Osiris, which was celebrated all over the Roman Empire (Sousse Archaeological Museum, Β© Ad Meskens / Wikimedia Commons) πΊ #AncientBluesky
