So who should pay? Over three-quarters of Americans, including the majority of Democrats, Independents, and even Republicans, want oil and gas companies to pay their fair share for the damages they’ve caused.

These disasters are driving up the cost of living. 84% of voters are worried about rising insurance rates and they’re also bracing for higher utility bills, groceries, and gas because of climate change.

And it’s not just heat. Floods, hurricanes, and wildfires are hitting families harder and more often.
