30.07.2025 13:26 β π 5 π 4 π¬ 0 π 0Hey @lawrencejones.dev are there a videos of this system being actively used?
I'm curious about bringing AI features into my dev workflow but at the moment the only tool I use is Copilot. There's access to Claude, but copilot (at least my config?) requires constant monitoring of the AI stuffs.

This was fun, infuriating, and informative!

03.07.2025 07:00 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Merry Christmas!
Lowest time commitment is Dark Matter by Blake Crouch, single book.
It was adapted into a series of the same name by HBO, book is better but series is still good
Nope, I just wanna watch Ryan Gosling do long division for a few hours

03.07.2025 06:55 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0I knew this question was coming.
I think my absolute favorite series right now is:
1. Mother of Learning (4 books). Any peak into the storyline will provide spoilers.
2. Dark Matter
3. Leviathan Wakes (series, liked books 1-6 better than 7-9)
4. Old Mans War (6 books?)
(Continued)
Lol, true.
03.07.2025 06:49 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Oh really? I liked it but I personally wouldn't have put it top 5 for me
03.07.2025 06:47 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Also, I wonder how much liberties they took with the storyline to do a movie adaption
03.07.2025 06:46 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0The art of taking all the mystery out of the movie.
What did you think of the book?
That's like, a lot of spoilers

02.07.2025 15:16 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0I'm planning on using something like this repo to build a roing visualizer that will go on my Twitch stream. Work in progress π€£
01.07.2025 17:20 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0A chrome window displaying a local index.html webpage. This page is displaying workout data from a Concept2 row machine, highlighting the Stroke Rate field (23 strokes per minute) and the Distance field (5,035.5m)
Open source is so great! I just picked up a PM5 monitor for my row machine, and there was already an easy to use repo on GitHub that was able to connect to the PM5's Bluetooth signal and display the data coming out.

27.06.2025 23:48 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Screenshot of OBS Studio with Raycast extension modal active. In Raycast, a scene is selected to switch to.
Just getting into Twitch streaming and the joys of controlling OBS.
I'm looking for a way to change scenes on macOS, Raycast has an extension `obs control`. Works alright, but still figuring out how to deeplink an actual scene name.

Screenshot of two code blocks, left side is javascript, right side is pythong. Left side reads: // JavasScript // "snip cosnt current day" (pause) // "six pour line this snip print string the current day is" (pause) // "pour arg bing name prevous line" const currentDay = 6; console.log('the current day is', currentDay[]); Right side reads: # Pyhton # "snip cosnt current day" (pause) # "six pour line this snip print string the current day is" (pause) # "pour arg bing name prevous line" current_day = 6 print('the current day is', current_day)
Oh! There's snippets too. Those are super impressive and the same command adjusts based on programming language:

06.06.2025 18:47 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Yeah that makes sense. Speaking out letters all the time seems cumbersome because those words in my head don't have the same association as compared to hitting a key.
Using the Cursorless hats felt a little clunky in the beginning but it's much more fluid now.
I don't recommend a treadmill, I've almost fallen over a few times because I wanted to stop and think and forgot it was there lol.
