1- Crip Camp
2- Pick Of The Litter
New video time!
A whole lot of folks keep forgetting about closed captions on DVDs, and as time has marched on this means they're getting less accessible.

2- It is a sign of good craftsmanship.
3- It is the law, and hopefully it will stay that way…
1- It is a sign of respect. None of the rights gained, and the changes in perception and treatment of persons with disabilities were easily gained. It took a generation of activists and their sacrifice for that to happen.
22.05.2025 15:12 — 👍 3 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0Guess what! Pages made by humans for humans, that are easy to read and understand, semantically sound and well structured pages are great for LLMs too. If you want LLMs to favor your company, make sure your presence on the Web is accessible!
22.05.2025 00:04 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0Here is an emerging business case for accessibility. Users are moving away from traditional search, and increasingly use LLMs to search for information. Traditional SEO is obsolete. LLMs are hungry for new human-made high quality data to ingest.

Finished product sitting on my nightstand. Displaying a nicely designed glucose reading, glucose chart and an air quality gauge
I had some free time on my hands so I modified a GeekMagic Pro display using ESPHome. Added an air quality sensor and flashed a custom firmware. It is now displaying a real time glucose reading from my Freestyle Libre sensor, a graph and an air quality gauge, and sends data back to HomeAssistant.
