I'm not sure how I go from insomnia every night one week to barely staying awake at 7:00 PM the next.

We live our lives in bubbles
Pretending we are safe
From change and its dangers
But in the end
All bubbles burst or deflate
Leaving us struggling
To find a new stability
A new home
Where we can forget for a while
Our vulnerability

Drones in the sky, why, why?
Incessant buzzing as they fly by.
A plane, a star, or nothing at all
A time to panic, the sky may fall.
Drone, such an apt and fitting word,
Metaphor for the noise always heard.
What’s up above our heads?
Forgetting what’s inside instead.

I use poetry and music to express myself. I feel I do not come off the same way in person that I do when I create my art. I think this is one of those neurodivergent traits, but I cannot exactly self-disgnose. All I can say is that I have trouble with exactly following the dance steps of life.

Maybe the box is meant to be filled so that others may take from it, hence why it is now empty. Or perhaps there is no answer at all. There is much to ponder.

Woven in the fabric of time is all
the moments of joy you kissed,
