I don't have experience with daith specifically, but a second person and nylon coated jewelry pliers may be a good start.

Old comb bound book titled Library Skills Activities Kits. Simple line drawings of a wonky lion bookmark, space mobile, haunted house labeled "monster reading center" and a caterpillar eating a cookbook decorate the cover. The caterpillar has half-lidded eyes pointing in different directions and a droopy antenna. Crumbs of paper fall from its smiling open mouth. At first glance it looks intoxicated, but looking longer reveals what may be a fang and subtle malice.

I am worried about this bookworm. It looks unwell.

Not necessarily clever, but trained as a child that the last best hope in a household repair disaster is to call the Rent-All to see if they have something that might help.

Yah! I had forgotten about the hearing damage (sorry!), so glad you found a company to listen to the delicate interplay of dirt and leak

Are you on a well, or do we need to kick in some cash for the water bill? I have no idea how rural water works in CA, but willing to chip in if you are in need.

I was seeing the perversion in attempting to apply the AI in novel, ill-advised ways (generally to replace workers). I, thankfully, do not know any laser perverts, but I assume using a laser in new, dangerous, and generally unacceptable ways is what sets them apart.

I am reasonably sure the AI perverts are in Business.

Skipper butterfly on lavender colored bee balm

It's Butterfly Blitz week! It's also ridiculous hot, so I will not be stalking butterflies for long today.

One of the worst things therapy ever did was allow very privileged people to believe that because they FELT ashamed

That someone was shaming them on purpose

And that someone who had the power to impact their emotions was the same as someone who had power over them

I missed the Kickstarter for Anatomy of Dogs :(. Will there be print copies available through your website?

Bread machines are also awesome. A little boxy robot friend that makes you fresh bread.

I got my first parasol last year, and I love it. The lined ones give deep shade. The pagoda shaped ones direct a breeze around you. Both give social distance in a crowd.

I am not completely awake yet, and I read that as Starbucks at first. Very glad it was an old tiny candy and not 16+ oz of milk and sugar.

Cyber everything is silly. Libraries have INFORMATION. The format isn't the point. Online information takes tons of people to curate, maintain, and organize. Libraries also are a gathering space to share ideas, and brick and mortar buildings work great as meeting spaces.

I am also very pale with all family from England. We are fit for gloom, clouds and long nights. My redheaded mother kept me covered as a kid thankfully.

I met a person from south east Iowa last weekend who remarked on how rural east central Illinois is. So while you may be in Iowa, at least you are not in Edgar County, Illinois.

My fluffy jerk can tell when I have almost grabbed something soft to throw at him. He will stop scratching moments before I grab a yarn ball.
