Knowing that @backlisted.bsky.social were about to do an episode on this book, I picked up a copy. My wife came into the room late yesterday evening looking worried, “I didn’t know if you were laughing or crying...”
It was laughter, uproarious, uncontrolled gales of laughter. What a book!

A brilliant start to 2024! Thanks as always to @backlisted.bsky.social for the Barry Hines recommendation, although I’m slightly embarrassed at not having got to this book before now. Especially as I attended school in the north of England through the nineties. Worth the wait though, and how!
