（The part in The Cat of Dayan where you almost lose control to your own shadow reminded me of a story I read in Doraemon as a kid. It really left an impression back then. Come to think of it, Doraemon also appears in Deltarune… kind of makes me curious.）

The Cat of Dayan doesn’t feel like the kind of book you’d casually find in libraries or often see people reading. Even for native Japanese speakers, it seems pretty niche — like Darren Shan compared to Harry Potter. 😌

A YouTube video by Wiztale discusses similarities in worldbuilding between Toby Fox’s works and The Cat of Dayan. It’s a sensitive topic, but really interesting from a worldbuilding perspective. The art was familiar, but it was surprising to learn it’s actually a novel with its own story. 😮

a 2nd Fangamer Japan shop just opened along with the brand new Kyoto GiGO arcade, and I drew new mural art! All the same characters as the Shibuya store, but with a Kyoto twist. This is my favourite city to visit in Japan so I'm honoured to have my art there!

Almost cried during a no-save run with that “progress by getting game over” style of play. After Susie gets bored of cheating and draws dead fish eyes on Kris, if Kris gets downed and then stands back up… Susie never tries to draw them on Kris again.This is exactly why Susie is so lovable. Toby… 😭

This is a PVC Kris Rubber Key Cover. It features a chibi, two-heads Kris slightly smiling, holding a sword in the Dark World and a knife in the Light World. The key cover is double-sided: the right side shows Light World Kris, and the left side shows Dark World Kris. The sides of the key cover are thick and black, and the character itself is semi-3D, giving it a puffy, rounded appearance. The hardware is gunmetal with a black finish, and it includes a carabiner for easy attachment. In addition to Kris, a small red heart-shaped acrylic charm in a dot style is attached.
