I’ll never forget anticipating The Dark Knight Rises on Blu-Ray and searching if a possible gag reel leaked on YouTube. What I instead found was the newly released Bane Outtakes from @auralnauts.bsky.social and I never turned my back since then.

Happy 20th Anniversary to Star Wars Battlefront 2!

The PS2 was my first console and as you can imagine a 9 year old in 2005, I LOVED Star Wars. I could easily start this up today and play Galactic Conquest in a heartbeat.

I’m gonna go watch that video two or three dozen more times. May karma hit every bigot as hard as that curb hit him.

There’s a word I want to bring back into rotation, because I think it perfectly encapsulates the boomer in that viral video who called someone the F-slur and then immediately proceeded to fall on his stupid face, busting his head open.

Here it is: Bozo. That guy is a bozo.

And this was just the tip of the iceberg. It was another great weekend at @baltimorecomiccon.bsky.social and spending it with my podcast brothers @amazingspidertalk.com and @mouthdork.bsky.social made it an amazing experience.

Another bucket list goal: an original art commission.

JRJR is one of my favorites, and Scott Hanna not only inked this piece but he also added watercolors to it.

Very stunning one of a kind art.

A bucket list goal of mine was to own an original page of ASM. I found a page from an issue that had my letter printed in it. Now it’s mine.

I met many comic creators this weekend, but I’ve always wanted to meet Chris Claremont.

I could’ve had him sign any number of famous X-Men comics in my collection.

But instead I had him (as well as Bob Hall) sign that issue of Marvel Team-Up where Spidey teams up with the cast of SNL.

Here’s a few highlights from the weekend.

First and foremost, I made a few upgrades to my ASM collection, including ASM #13.

Mysterio is cool. If you don’t think so, you’re wrong.

I’m bummed I’m not going to a convention the next day.

Baltimore Comic Con (@baltimorecomiccon.bsky.social) had a million highlights this year, but none better than wandering the floor with @mouthdork.bsky.social and @alexgalucki.bsky.social!

I’m fully expecting some people to be dissatisfied with the Peacemaker finale. For me, and for the reasons I’ve loved Gunn’s work for years, it really worked.

My excitement for Rush’s reunion next year has reached its next stage: contemplating the horrifying possibility that I fail to get the tickets on Monday.

I am prepared to do deeply shameful things to see this band live (buy overpriced resale tickets).
