Recognise a Palestinian State, halt all arms sales, including parts, to Israel, cease all public contracts with Israeli companies, put wide ranging sanctions on Israel and Government officials including Netanyahu. We have done all this with Russia - why not Israel?

You're correct they aren't just ignoring it. They are in fact funding and arming the Israeli's to continue the Genocide. Let's stop that first of all.

In the UK, our Governments often claim a level of moral superiority compared to other nations.

The unbridled homophobia and transphobia on social media following yesterday's Glasgow Pride is really disappointing.

The progressive, safe and welcoming Scotland that I so proudly cherished over the last decade appears to be dead.

All the more reason for Pride to flourish and be supported.

By chance passed the Glasgow Pride march today. Spotted a van from an electricity company in the parade, decked out with the pride progress flag. It seems my electricity supplier is doing more to support trans rights than the Labour party.

An update from NHS Fife While the claimant raised concerns about a trans woman’s use of a locker room, this was not the reason that NHS Fife’s internal investigation was initiated. As made clear during tribunal proceedings, the disciplinary process was initiated due to concerns raised about interactions with a colleague and patient care. The Health Board has a responsibility to fully investigate where concerns are raised about the conduct of any of its employees, in accordance with established policies and procedures. The act of investigating a concern does not assume any wrongdoing. An internal disciplinary investigation is not of itself punitive in nature and exists to fairly assess concerns raised by establishing facts. At the stage legal action via an employment tribunal was taken by the claimant in this case, NHS Fife had not reached any final conclusions on its internal investigation although, as widely reported, this has since been completed. NHS Fife believes its internal disciplinary process in this matter has been fair and impartial.

An update from NHS Fife Why is NHS Fife continuing the tribunal case? Why not simply drop the action? NHS Fife did not initiate the ongoing tribunal proceedings and is instead one of two ‘respondents’ being sued. NHS Fife cannot unilaterally stop proceedings. The health board is not pursuing any legal action against the claimant - it is instead defending itself, as it is required to do. The legal case concerns a range of different claims and allegations, against NHS Fife and its staff, including in relation to the claimant’s suspension, the investigation, and other matters allegedly said or done.

A reminder the NHS Fife employment tribunal many are losing their minds over is not about whether trans people should use certain bathrooms, it was about allegations of bullying and harassment against a trans doctor. Despite campaigners claiming differently, it's not up to NHS Fife to drop the case.

In the ongoing TERF nurse case (Sandie Peggie v NHS Fife) questions arise over Naomi’s Cunningham, introducing evidence from Sex Matters - but Cunningham is a director and activist at SM… Forstater is claiming NC is acting as ‘a barrister’ and not an activist of SM.

Hats off to @brianleishmanmp.bsky.social. He has been a fantastic advocate for Grangemouth & has stood up for his constituentsoat every turn in the face of horrendously damaging policy decisions by Starmer.

Another blow to the left of the party and traditional Labour values.

What we are seeing today is not new. We have seen this happen before.

Immigrants, asylum seekers, minorities, trans people are being scapegoated, targeted and attacked daily in the UK.

The UK has returned to the days of 1948, 1972, 1981 and 2005.
