Thought it'd be cool if for my next video I'd record all my footage at 4k 120fps - both to get the highest quality and allow me to zoom and slow-motion with minimal quality loss. Now I have 500 gigabytes of footage :)

I'm casual with electronics repair but like to try. I decided to try to fix my old frame1 where one of the buttons didn't work. I confirmed it was still broken I figured it might be solder break so I got a multimeter and tested for continuity. Just after probing a while it was fixed. Magic lmao

Davinci resolve has been a headache recently. There's huge new features in version 20 that could save so much time, and they work (kinda!). I just have to bear with constant freezes and crashing which still makes it end up take the same amount of time but with triple the frustration.

I can finally release my biggest project so far: A Celeste Movement Guide. This is by far my biggest project that I worked on and off for the past few years. I'm very glad to finally be able to share it and give quite a few tidbits to optimize your Celeste speedruns.

I'm pretty sure YouTube's "Not Interested" button used to work pretty well. But nowadays I get recommended several piratesoftware drama videos a day and click it on all of them, yet they keep coming up. Cool!

sponsorblock is a good extension but many of the non sponsor categories get so ambiguous that I so often end up rewinding and finding out I missed something important marked as intermission/intro etc. I think I'll just finally disable everything but sponsor skips entirely.

After beating chapter 4 I went back and tried to catch some streamers (even super small ones) make it to some of my favorite moments. Almost all of them had at least 1 chatter giga backseating and borderline spoiling over and over. It's so lame.

I've also been tweaking and testing the thumbnail a lot still. I really like the current version so I went back and made a similar styled one for The Hobbit which also seemed to perform better. Maybe a consistent style I'll stick with from now on, we'll see.

Been working on adding proper subtitles to the Celeste video all day. Thankfully a lot of that is automatic now but it's still a ton of work doing so many minor corrections over a video that long. I hope it's appreciated because its so tedious to do lmao

Having some trouble getting through deltarune chapter 4. The amount of tense moments has gone up a lot without much relief or answers and it's a little draining so I've been putting the game down a lot. I feel like the previous chapters balanced it better.

It's so sad. Before, youtube would occasionally recommend me a low view indie track and I'd be excited to check it out. Now those same recommendations just seem to be AI garbage. Can't imagine how it feels for the actual artists getting buried in the slop.

The algorithm is fickle and I can't complain about the solid start the celeste video had, but the daily views has been dropping very fast so it might still be a while before the algorithm gives it another good chance. Things will stay uncertain for a while it seems

Redid a bunch of stuff from the other save and still locked out, gave in and googled it and it doesn't seem too important though I still can't figure out why I'm locked out. Chapter 3 has been a real stinker.

Dude... Got to the end of the chapter again and felt like I was still missing something. Remembered something I forgot to check: now also locked out. Thank god I made an extra save not too long ago but this feels so poorly thought out. If I had to replay the whole chapter a third time I'd just quit.

Without spoiling I was really enjoying deltarune but locked myself out of something probably important in chapter 3 because I thought it was the intended path and went somewhere else first. Really annoyed because I was trying so hard for blind yet high completion. Maybe I'll replay the chapter later
