Every user on #Twitch user can choose which color their name has in chat. Only 5% of normal users do that. That's not much compared to 55% of onboarded, 73% of affiliates and 84% of partners.
Below are images created where 1 pixel represents one user with that color.

Twitch currently has 133,621 onboarded, 3,784,365 affiliates and 71,536 partners, all while having 1,360 staff accounts.
There are currently more than 24,406,358 emotes on Twitch.

Twitch released 5 / 10 / 15 year staff badges a few days ago.
I did a quick scan and as of right now there are
1,363 staff accounts in total
276 have the 5 year badge
6 have the 10 year badge

You're not doing anything wrong. Because of how @ mentioning works in the API this hasn't been implemented at this time

A scan of all accounts takes a bit over a month. Just scanning new accounts as they come in is way simpler

Many of these "RU" accounts are suspended which means it's likely that they were bots. Accounts are not rescanned so this is the setting they had on their initial scan.

No, nothing was removed from the data

That was due to the "La Velada 5" event

I scanned every #Twitch account, grouped them by creation date and their selected language and now there is a nice graph for everyone to check out.
Looks like around half of new accounts in the last 6 months are Russian.
