A couple of times previously Lucy Powell embarrassed herself by getting into a loud slanging match with him. Lisa Nandy was clearly ready for his angry pub bore routine and gave a masterclass.

People keep telling me that Labour isnโt losing votes to Reform yet @yougov.co.uk poll today shows Reform potentially winning 231 Labour seats if there was an election now.
26.09.2025 12:10 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0If you keep blocking sensible reform under your own Labour government you will end up with extreme change under Reform.
22.09.2025 17:03 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Lucy Powell winning would be another gift to Reform. Sacked for not being up to being in government and Reform will make hay with mock ups of her blowing a dog whistle.

If the bombs hadnโt been used in 1945 do you think nuclear weapons would not have been used in the next 80 years?
Many more civilians would have died in a conventional war to conquer Japan.
The estimates were that the allies would have lost a million conquering Japan and the Japanese two million. If the world hadnโt seen the awfulness of such weapons they would have been used at some point since.
They canโt be disinvented.
Would you have preferred the allies to have forced Japan to surrender conventionally?
